Fifty Shades of Us

On 16 June 2021 by SPP

“Fifty Shades of Us”, a project to decode political perspectives of the people, was initiated by SPP CMU to reveal different political views and to categorize them into sub-categories. The method of “Q-methodology” was adopted with a sample group of 50 people, in which they were given a checklist to fill and tick boxes of phrases that were in line with their ideologies. Each “phrase” came from the comments and familiar sayings that can be seen and heard, both in real life and on social media.
